“ I came here on Christmas because nothing else was open and I'm glad this place was. Ordered the 1Pc Lobster tail and added broccoli. Tip included, the whole meal was less than $30. Would have been double the price in San Diego. Bonus points for seating me right in front of a TV that was playing Home Alone. Started swelling up when Kevin's old man neighbor reunites with his family. Apposite. ”
“ The hubby and I decided to get some sea food for lunch. We never been here before. The service was great and very attentive. The restaurant was decorated in Sea theme. Very bright and clean. A comfortable relaxing environment. My hubby got the choose your combo sea food boil. He loved it. I got the catfish and shrimp basket. We got hushpuppies and calamari for an appetizer. All the food was fresh and flavorful. The prices are very reasonable. The amount of food you get is HUGE! We will definitely be coming back with friends. ”

“ BEST SEAFOOD IN THE AREA BEYOND BETTER THAN TASTY CRAB! My server Sam was so kind and the other server Rebecca made sure we felt welcome from the moment we stepped in the door. They have a few TVS and offer the remote if you want to change the channel. The music is very upbeat and a pretty unique playlist. “ I was nervous when they brought out a plastic bag full of seafood, but it was soooo good! I got 1/2 lb of blue crab and 1/2 lb of clams with all the seasoning. The fish, the corn, the potato ... it was all delicious. I'm so glad we stopped in. Just be warned, you may need to be hosed off after you're done. ”
“ Came in for lunch. Dining room is clean, greeted quickly. We had a party of three, ordered the Special 4; shrimp, crab legs, crawfish, corn, potato, and egg. This was perfect amount of food for three people. Very good flavor, this wouldn't have been my first choice but Holy Crab has made me a believer. ”
“ Incredible seafood at very reasonable prices! Holy Crab offers authentic Acadian Cajun boiled crab, shrimp, scallops, and fish pots of several varieties and spice levels (cayenne & black pepper stands out more). They also have a few other Cajun specialties, including gumbo (one of my favorites) which has a subtly more Creole taste (tomato & paprika is more forward) and crispy sweet-corn hush puppies (reminds me of Paul Prudhomme's recipe which is more wheat than corn, and has sweet onion). I enjoyed our seafood boil dinner so much, I went back for lunch the next day. I got the Holy Crab sampler which features catfish, oysters, shrimp, a crab cake, fries, and I added a tilapia fillet. All of the fish was expertly prepared, and their batter is a rich and crispy sweet-onion batter with a dusting of corn to add to the texture. The portions were very generous for the price. I also got the egg fried rice, which was very tasty, and filled me up after a long day of walking around. For dinner, we went just after peak hours, and the service was fairly quick (for a seafood boil). It was much busier at lunch, but they were able to prepare and serve the food lightning-fast, even with a number of to-go orders being picked up during service. The staff are friendly, and checked on us regularly to top off drinks (we went with medium spiciness, which was perfect with iced tea). Holy Crab ended up being my favorite stop of my trip in Peoria. The food, service, and prices were all quite good. If I'm in the area again, I will stop here to eat for sure! ”
